The course equips students with diverse professional and adaptable skills. Faculty members frequently maintain active artistic careers with global recognition, such as Dr. Steve Klee, whose exhibitions have appeared at LAM Gallery in Los Angeles, and Dr. Alice Bell, who has worked with renowned artists like Damien Hirst and Sir Peter Blake.
The program also features guest lectures and workshops from leading artists and professionals. Past participants include Turner Prize-winning collective Assemble, along with notable figures like Mark Titchner, Jordan Baseman, Cath Keay, and Joshua Sofaer.
This program examines modern art that transcends conventional gallery spaces to incorporate alternative venues, with coursework structured to develop professional readiness. It prioritizes personal creativity and artistic insight while exposing students to Live Art, installation, digital media, as well as traditional practices like painting, sculpture, drawing, and printmaking.
