We are a multidisciplinary group of criminology researchers focused on intensive study. For over three decades, we've maintained outstanding standards in education, scholarly investigation, business initiatives, and professional development. Our research influences global policies. Doctoral candidates undertake self-directed research projects with support from an advisory team. The maximum enrollment duration before submitting a thesis is 4 years for full-time students or 7 years for part-time students. Typically, hands-on research (including experiments, lab work, fieldwork, and data gathering) spans 3 to 3.5 years full-time or 6 to 6.5 years part-time. After completing active research, students may apply for a writing-up extension of up to one year. The combined research and writing phases must not surpass the total enrollment limit. Theses generally shouldn't exceed 80,000 words and must present novel findings with publication-worthy content. Candidates must successfully defend their thesis in an oral examination (viva voce) to earn their degree.
