This program prepares engineering graduates with specialized expertise, competencies, and practical experience to successfully contribute to and eventually manage cross-functional teams developing sophisticated, high-value engineering systems for extreme operating conditions.
During the first semester, students will explore spacecraft architecture while building foundational knowledge of propulsion systems and space environmental factors. The curriculum includes training with industry-standard design tools alongside professional growth modules featuring leadership scenarios and ethical considerations.
The second semester delves deeper into spacecraft engineering, examining cutting-edge materials, control mechanisms, and communication equipment. Students will also learn about system integration processes and physical configuration challenges in spacecraft assembly.
