Future engineering leaders will confront significant challenges. Pressures around costs, profit margins, and delivering value are intensifying, while technological advancements accelerate at an unprecedented rate. Companies increasingly recognize that leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques like additive layer manufacturing (ALM) to explore new design possibilities provides a competitive edge, and that engineering performance directly impacts overall profitability. However, there's a critical shortage of professionals equally skilled in both technical and managerial domains. This program directly tackles that gap by cultivating tomorrow's engineering leaders. Opting for the 'With Industry' track includes an industrial placement to apply your learned skills. After completing coursework and exams by May/June, you'll engage in a paid 3-9 month industry placement, returning the following May/June to finalize your summer project - a structure that complies with UK visa regulations for international students.
