This program offers an in-depth exploration of modern global affairs. Through this curriculum, you'll examine various international topics and assess whether post-Cold War relations have been shaped by Western notions of global governance. The program presents diverse perspectives on world order following the Cold War era. You'll develop analytical skills to evaluate international dynamics, particularly regarding Western influence on global systems and the resulting reactions and resistance. The curriculum combines theoretical frameworks with practical case studies. A mandatory core module analyzes Western strategies for maintaining their vision of order and alternative perspectives from other regions. Additionally, you'll select three elective modules and complete a dissertation, enabling specialization in areas aligned with your academic interests or career aspirations.
