The International Business and Corporate Law concentration within the LLM program focuses on intricate matters, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements governing commercial dealings and corporate legislation across domestic and global contexts. This specialization examines legal doctrines pertaining to corporate dealings, operations, governance structures, and financial matters, along with real-world difficulties in managing multinational enterprises and international business ventures. Students gain a nuanced comprehension of the policy foundations underlying corporate legislation while honing their skills in evaluating, understanding, and implementing economic, financial, theoretical, and socio-legal concepts to address current challenges in corporate law. The curriculum requires completion of two mandatory core courses, selection of six specialized elective modules, and submission of a thesis on a relevant subject to achieve specialization. Beyond deepening expertise in governance mechanisms and regulatory systems within the international marketplace, this program cultivates valuable transferable competencies, enhances independent legal research capabilities, and improves both verbal and written communication proficiency.
