The Biological Sciences (Zoology) program allows you to study both theoretical and applied aspects of animal biology and biodiversity, covering areas like animal behavior, developmental biology, ecological systems, evolutionary processes, and physiological functions. You'll develop a thorough, contemporary understanding of zoological methodologies while gaining hands-on experience with techniques used to investigate critical questions in neurobiology, behavioral studies, ecological systems, and evolutionary biology. Practical laboratory sessions and classroom instruction are complemented by field studies, including international field trips. This program mirrors the initial three years of the MBiolSci in Biological Sciences (Zoology). The broader Biological Science curriculum examines fundamental biological and molecular principles across diverse life forms, from microorganisms and fungi to animals and plants. With all 14 programs sharing a unified first-year curriculum, you have the flexibility to switch to another degree option before completing Year 1.
