This Foundation Year program is designed for students aspiring to pursue Biological Sciences or Medical Sciences at the University of Leicester's School of Biological Sciences, particularly those whose A-level subjects don't meet our standard entry requirements. Successfully completing the integrated Foundation Year at the required level allows progression to the first year of the BSc in Biological Sciences, with the option to later switch to more specialized Biological Sciences or Medical Sciences degrees. You'll learn from leading academics across multiple departments in the College of Life Sciences, studying alongside peers from the School of Biological Sciences, School of Medicine, and School of Psychology. The program places significant focus on developing essential study skills for undergraduate success and future careers, incorporating these skills into course content through innovative teaching methods.
