Our STEM Foundation Year programs in Science, Technology, and Engineering are designed for aspiring students who want to pursue engineering or related fields but lack conventional qualifications. These courses operate on the University of Leicester campus alongside regular degree programs, where you'll study with peers who narrowly missed direct entry to similar courses. The initial foundation year (year 0) prepares you to advance directly into year 1 of our BEng or MEng Engineering programs upon successful completion. Our interdisciplinary faculty provides instruction, with a strong focus on developing crucial professional and personal competencies for academic success and future careers.
