This program is ideal if you want to explore Geography comprehensively while focusing mainly on Human Geography. Sharing a foundational first year with BSc students, Years 2 and 3 provide a wide range of optional Human Geography courses, addressing subjects such as migration, environmental policy and equity, climate shifts, urban renewal, energy and food systems, and geopolitical studies. Some Physical Geography electives remain available in later years, allowing you to customize your studies toward either a broad or specialized Human Geography focus based on your preferences. The curriculum emphasizes analytical reasoning and cultivates both quantitative and qualitative research abilities. We foster critical and imaginative thinking in research methodologies, employing cutting-edge teaching and evaluation techniques while prompting students to consider the evolving role of Human Geographers today. Should you wish to shift your focus to Physical Geography after Year 1, you can switch to the Geography BSc track.
