Pursuing a PhD typically requires a 3-year full-time or 5-year part-time commitment, during which you'll create original knowledge and analyze it in context with existing research. You'll conduct your research project under the guidance of a principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors, while enhancing your research capabilities and acquiring diverse skills. The Digital Futures research theme, within the Big Data field, seeks to leverage innovative digital data to produce policy-relevant findings for transportation and interconnected sectors like energy, healthcare, safety, security, and social systems.
