Our school fosters diverse scholarship and practice-based research bridging music, science, and technology. Our interdisciplinary approach encompasses music psychology, health applications of music, music education, technological innovations in music, instrument studies, sound research, and scientific approaches to composition, performance, and music history. We are pioneers in music psychology research, examining musical imagination, creative processes, taste formation, audience engagement, developmental aspects, identity formation, and listening patterns. Our work also investigates music's therapeutic benefits, conducting applied research on its effects on physical and psychological wellbeing.
