Nutrition represents just one facet of overall wellbeing, yet it's deeply connected to other life aspects. This interconnection makes it challenging to isolate diet's precise impact on health without accounting for lifestyle factors. Our studies explore the complex connections among individuals, nutrition, and wellness across diverse groups, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to uncover the molecular, behavioral, and cultural elements shaping dietary-health relationships. We work with partners nationwide and globally, spanning various sectors, to investigate food choice motivations and their health consequences. Using these insights, we create, implement, and analyze initiatives to enhance individual and community health, while also evaluating how health policies and practices influence populations both in the UK and worldwide.
