Pursuing a PhD typically requires a commitment of 3 years for full-time study or 5 years part-time, during which you'll create original research and analyze how it connects with current knowledge. Working under the guidance of a principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors, you'll conduct an in-depth research project while enhancing your research capabilities and acquiring diverse skills. A doctoral program serves as valuable preparation for both academic and industry career paths. Our shared focus involves examining transportation economics from both demand and supply viewpoints, evaluating how these factors influence personal travel choices, and analyzing the economic justification for transportation investments and broader policy measures.
