Companies (ranging from small enterprises to medium-sized firms and multinational corporations) and institutions (including universities and healthcare systems like the NHS) play a vital role in advancing toward more sustainable communities. The Business and Organisations for Sustainable Societies (BOSS) research team is an interdisciplinary collective of scholars dedicated to assessing the impact of businesses and institutions, exploring ways to integrate sustainability into their operations, practices, and supply networks. Our research investigates the consequences of strategies implemented by organizations in both developed and developing nations, addressing challenges at regional and international levels. We study the interactions between corporations, policymakers, consumers, and other key stakeholders.
