A Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Arts (MA) by Research offers a self-directed approach to advanced study, where evaluation and degree conferral depend solely on your research work. Pursuing an MA or MSc by Research presents a stimulating chance to enhance your critical thinking abilities while deepening your scholarly focus in a specific discipline. This research-based Master's program involves a 12-month investigation (or 24 months for part-time students), differing from traditional taught Master's degrees as it focuses entirely on designing, executing, and documenting an original research project. You'll receive guidance from two faculty supervisors and have opportunities to publish your findings upon completion.
Our computational modeling research explores both theoretical frameworks and simulation techniques across an exceptionally wide spectrum of food science applications. Our specialists investigate virtually all dimensions of food systems, including: Molecular interactions at atomic scales, Structural properties at mesoscopic and colloidal levels, Large-scale computational modeling of food processing methods, Global impact assessments of food systems regarding sustainability, disease transmission patterns, and ecological/public health considerations.
