The Master of Philosophy degree is granted upon completion of a thesis (200 pages or 60,000 words) that demonstrates your ability to conduct research and/or scholarship at a publishable standard, meeting peer-review criteria. Examiners will assess whether the work represents approximately two to three years of full-time study (or four to six years part-time). Additionally, you must show comprehensive knowledge in your research field. This program is ideal for students with two years of research funding.

Research also explores the communication needs of other road users—including drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists—when encountering automated vehicles.
