The Master of Philosophy degree is granted upon completion of a substantial thesis (typically 200 pages or 60,000 words). Examiners must confirm that your work demonstrates the ability to analyze and present research findings at a publishable standard that would withstand peer evaluation, representing what could reasonably be achieved within two to three years of full-time study (or four to six years for part-time candidates). Additionally, you must show comprehensive knowledge in your chosen research field. This program is ideal for students with two years of research funding. Our shared focus includes examining transportation economics from both demand and supply viewpoints, analyzing how these factors influence personal travel choices, and evaluating the economic justification for transport infrastructure projects and related policy measures.
