This program provides abundant performance experiences and exposes you to diverse advanced musical studies. You'll work closely with our skilled instrumental/vocal instructors, performance coaches, and resident accompanist to refine your technical abilities, stage presence, and interpretive skills.

We'll motivate and assist you in exploring performance research to further your artistic growth. Through private instruction, performance workshops, and masterclasses, you'll prepare and present a recital as your primary project, while also tackling complex musical forms via our concerto/song-cycle/extended composition module. The curriculum introduces performance research methodologies, helping you contextualize your repertoire choices within academic frameworks. You'll also design and execute a specialized performance project, which could concentrate on historical performance techniques, collaborative music-making, teaching methods, secondary instrument study, or other performance-related pursuits.
