This program offers chances to enhance your creative composition abilities and technical mastery to an advanced stage with guidance from our skilled instructors. Our composition faculty consists of diverse, practicing composers who can mentor various critical and experimental methods in both acoustic and electroacoustic composition, as well as their artistic intersections.

During the year, you'll engage with core modules designed to refine your compositional and musical abilities. You'll expand your academic competencies, including research and presentation techniques, while studying compositional fundamentals and professional applications. Additionally, you'll explore aesthetic theories to cultivate your artistic identity and broaden your understanding of music. Your primary undertaking will be compiling a portfolio of original works. With adequate background knowledge, you may select elective modules in other musical disciplines like musicology, electronic music, performance, or music psychology.

A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) in music, or equivalent qualification
IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) at 88 overall with no less than 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking and 21 in writing.
