As the sole combined Master's and Bachelor's dentistry program in the UK, our MChD/BChD curriculum blends clinical practice, scientific knowledge, and personal growth. Graduating from Leeds, you'll emerge as a highly skilled practitioner with comprehensive training. The program prepares you to analyze critically, work autonomously, and meet the General Council's standards for entry-level dental practitioners.
Clinical education begins early, allowing you to connect academic theory with real-world practice. Throughout the course, you'll enhance your diagnostic abilities, patient communication, leadership qualities, technical skills, and teamwork in dental settings. Practical training involves simulated procedures using phantom heads and digital haptic systems before progressing to treating actual patients in diverse clinical settings. The program also covers professional ethics in dental care.

Qualification Requirements
A-level- AAA Including Biology and Chemistry, excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking. You must achieve a Pass in the practical element of any science A-levels.
GCSE- A minimum of 6 GCSEs at Grade 6/B or higher including Chemistry, Biology (or Dual Science), English and Maths.
International Baccalaureate
At least 35 points overall including a score of 6 in higher level Chemistry and Biology, plus a further higher at grade 6. English must be offered at higher or subsidiary level (grade 5 minimum if not offered at GCSE). Maths Studies is acceptable.
IELTS 7.0 overall, with no less than 7.5 in listening and speaking, and no less than 6.0 in writing and reading.
