The Masters by Research program enables students to conduct in-depth independent research at the Masters level under the mentorship of IDEA Centre faculty. You'll develop a research project on a subject of your choosing, supported by two co-supervisors, and compile your results into a thesis of approximately 30,000 words.
Through our partnerships with various professional and industry organizations, particularly in finance and engineering, we've cultivated expertise in professional ethics. Our consultancy team performs specialized research, having completed projects for institutions like the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Banking Standards Board.

Qualification Requirements
To apply for our Masters by Research degree you'll need a bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) in a relavent subject.
The minimum University language requirement is IELTS band score 6.0 - with not less than 5.5 in any skill area or Internet based TOEFL 87 (with not less than 20 in listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking and 21 in writing).
