The Masters by Research program offers you the opportunity to conduct in-depth independent research at the Masters level under the mentorship of IDEA Centre faculty. You'll develop and execute a research project on a subject of your choosing, supported by two academic supervisors, culminating in a thesis of approximately 30,000 words.

Our faculty specialize in diverse areas of moral psychology, exploring concepts such as human desires, rational thought, psychopathic tendencies, emotional responses, accountability, and romantic attachment. These investigations span historical philosophical perspectives to contemporary ethical applications. Our work examines decision-making processes across professional fields, interpersonal dynamics, leadership roles, and legal frameworks.
