Students will investigate diverse media creation processes, from solo content creators to small studios to massive conglomerates. With a global perspective grounded in modern research, participants will examine the evolution of modern media to grasp emerging phenomena like platform dominance, influencer marketing, digital streaming services, and online networking platforms. This multidisciplinary curriculum incorporates insights from various fields including media theory, economic analysis, social sciences, organizational studies, spatial research, political science, legal frameworks, literary arts, and sound media.

Qualification Requirements

A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (Hons) in one of the following: a (theory focused) media-related course, communication studies, cultural industry studies, management, cultural studies, history, literature, or sociology.

Relevant professional experience may also be considered from an applicant with an undergraduate degree in a preferred subject. We may request additional documentation to inform our decision.

IELTS 6.5 overall and no less than 6.0 in each component skill
TOEFL iBT - 88 overall and no less than 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking and 21 in writing.
