In this program, you'll thoroughly analyze how legal systems either support or hinder social justice across local, national, and global contexts. Core modules will investigate how we conceptualize, achieve, and implement justice. These studies address critical topics like decolonization to shift justice discourse away from colonial and racially biased frameworks. You'll also explore various forms of inequality related to disability, gender, race, and socioeconomic status - both within nations and worldwide - assessing their lasting impacts on legal systems, policies, and implementation. Elective modules let you customize your studies, focusing on areas such as disability rights, health equity, social care legislation, and creating fair, sustainable communities. The curriculum will enhance your expertise while developing valuable skills including problem-solving, interpreting and conveying complex information, and collaborating effectively in team environments.
