This training program features a substantial instructional element along with comprehensive supervised clinical experience, complemented by a research component. It is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as fulfilling their registration criteria and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as professional preparation for a career in Clinical Psychology, granting eligibility for BPS Chartered Status. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped to: function as skilled and ethical clinical psychologists, evaluate diverse psychological issues across various system levels (e.g., individuals, families, or broader systems) in multiple settings throughout the lifespan and at different cognitive ability levels, employing interviews, observations, and standardized assessments, analyze these challenges using psychological frameworks and adjust formulations as new data emerges, implement appropriate psychological interventions (both direct and indirect) guided by theoretical principles and empirical evidence, and assess intervention outcomes.
