The Youth and Justice team concentrates on challenges affecting young individuals engaged in unlawful activities, as well as broader matters concerning youth inclusion, their involvement in decision-making processes, and their community experiences. Our diverse, interdisciplinary team leads the way in developing creative ethnographic research approaches for working with youth. We maintain strong academic and policy networks that we actively seek to expand. Our work prioritizes impactful research that drives meaningful change. With extensive experience spanning practice, education, and management primarily in Liverpool, John specializes in teaching social work principles, research methodologies, ethnic studies, and social work practice. His academic investigations primarily explore ethnic diversity and social work, with special attention to youth and family services.
