Our approach actively engages practitioners, service recipients, and community stakeholders. Core research areas include supporting vulnerable populations, mental health in older adults, coercion and safety protocols, service user participation, and collaborative partnerships. Our objectives include: Enhancing UCLan's mental health research visibility through academic-clinical-community collaborations Expanding research scope and quality by strengthening researcher capabilities Deepening comprehension of mental health conditions, recovery processes, and the complex balance in effective care delivery. These goals are pursued through comprehensive research initiatives and consultancy services addressing multiple thematic areas.
