Our research investigates how economic and business activities influence society at large. This encompasses fostering research collaboration and cultivating leadership in the local business sector. We analyze supply chain effectiveness and work to improve performance across various business sectors, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs), cooperatives, and public management. Our work also extends to applied policy research, covering areas like public administration, assessing local economic and social development strategies such as the 'Preston Model' for community wealth creation, and studying national and international policy responses to Brexit. We unite experts and professionals from diverse fields—education, healthcare, law, technology, digital and financial engineering, entrepreneurship, tourism, labor studies, economics, finance, and banking. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to more effectively address the complex global challenges organizations encounter in pursuing equitable, sustainable prosperity by 2030. These efforts align with our School's vision: "to drive meaningful change through research-informed business and enterprise."
