This foundation year enhances your mathematical abilities, equipping you for admission to the BSc (Hons) Mathematics program. A Foundation Entry pathway is perfect if you possess the aptitude for degree-level study but lack the formal qualifications needed for direct entry into an honors program. It serves as an excellent bridge to a complete degree. Early in the course, you'll participate in a residential team-building event, helping you connect with faculty and peers while forming lasting friendships throughout your academic journey. The curriculum explores various mathematical subjects, including how mathematics applies to physics and engineering. Upon successfully completing your foundation year with strong results, you can advance to the mathematics degree or pursue studies in physics, astrophysics, or engineering. Your Foundation Entry Mathematics degree paves the way for careers across diverse sectors such as finance, banking, insurance, business consulting, and operational research.
