Our BA (Hons) Modern Languages program allows you to master two languages while offering an optional third language choice. You'll enhance both academic understanding and practical application of your selected languages, including translation and interpretation skills.
The curriculum explores more than just language mechanics by examining social and cultural frameworks. You'll engage with diverse topics like history, politics, cinema, and literature. While language remains the core competency, you'll simultaneously cultivate professional abilities such as time management and collaboration.
The program includes international study or work opportunities to boost linguistic proficiency, build confidence, and immerse yourself in new cultures.
Select two languages from Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish, with potential to add a third language later in your studies.

If you wish to study your chosen language at post A-Level you should have previously studied it at A2 Level, inclusive of the entry tariffs below.
