Childhood development and learning form the foundation for our entire lives. The BA Education & Psychology program provides comprehensive knowledge of psychological principles within educational settings. Throughout this program, you'll examine cognitive processes like learning, memory, reasoning, and communication, along with challenges students face - including learning disabilities and socio-emotional issues. The first year covers essential topics: psychobiology, cognitive processes, developmental and social psychology, with both theoretical and practical research methods training. You'll bridge psychology with education, exploring learning theories, educational systems, and policies. During the second and third years, you'll concentrate on applying psychological concepts in educational environments. Upon completion, you'll possess the skills to improve children's educational experiences and help educators better understand social influences on teaching and learning.
