Pursuing a PhD in History & Philosophy of Art allows you to undertake groundbreaking research with expert supervision. While we accept proposals on various subjects, we especially encourage those aligning with our highlighted specialties. You'll have access to outstanding research facilities to support your work, culminating in a dissertation of up to 100,000 words.
Each student benefits from at least two dedicated supervisors who will mentor your academic and professional growth. Regular meetings ensure not just research guidance, but also identification of areas needing additional training or assistance. Progress reviews occur periodically to maintain research momentum and guarantee you receive all necessary resources for successful completion.
