The Centre provides outstanding opportunities for both full-time and part-time research in intellectual disability and community care, leading to advanced degrees. With a proven history of securing University and ESRC research studentships, the Tizard Centre operates within the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research (SSPSSR). It maintains strong connections with health and social care providers, along with other related institutions. Qualification Requirements
If applying for the PhD programme, a Master's degree in a relevant subject is preferable.
All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.
IELTS - 7.0 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in each component)
TOEFL iBT - 95 overall (with a minimum of 25 in reading, 24 in writing&speaking, 22 in listening).
