This program fosters mutual enrichment between international law and international relations. It examines the fundamental approaches, breadth, and conceptual frameworks of international law, humanitarian law, and global relations. The curriculum offers comprehensive insights into public international law's function, possibilities, and constraints within global governance. This interdisciplinary program is ideal for individuals engaged with, or aspiring to join, international bodies, NGOs, diplomatic services, and global legal practices. International Law with International Relations students are invited to engage with the Centre for Critical International Law (CeCIL) at Kent, which organizes seminars, visits to international judicial institutions, and distinguished speaker programs.
Career readiness is prioritized university-wide, and Kent Law School provides specialized employment support through a dedicated Career Development Officer, along with diverse internship options, professional development events, and industry presentations. Postgraduate students access information about NGO fellowships, nonprofit opportunities, and professional placements through the School's Career Resources platform.
