This course aims to equip you with the ability to collect, interpret, and assess data related to human behavior and cognition. When examining crime management approaches, you'll integrate knowledge from fields including social policy, sociology, psychology, and legal studies.
You'll have access to cutting-edge psychology resources. Facilities include EEG technology for monitoring neural activity, a brain simulation lab, eye-tracking equipment, and a specialized infant research space.
Apply your knowledge in our custom-designed mock crime scene facility on campus. This newly established university resource offers authentic crime scenarios for practical investigation. Gain direct experience: document evidence, examine unlawful acts, and witness forensic science principles in action.
Through partnerships with criminal justice organizations, you'll enhance your education via internships and educational trips. Optional semester abroad opportunities include destinations such as the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Italy, Hungary, and Malta. The British Psychological Society accredits this program. Earning a 2:2 or higher qualifies you for graduate membership, initiating your journey toward Chartered Psychologist status.
