Mathematicians' ability to reason logically, to develop quantitative models and to extract information from and analyse data means their skillset is valued everywhere. A degree in Mathematics doesn't just lead to a career, it's a gateway to improved prospects, increased earning potential, and the ability to shape your own path, for example, as a data scientist.
As a graduate of a mathematics course, you could potentially work in a variety of sectors, including aerospace, energy, electronics, environmental, pharmaceutical, financial, or even the world of social media, all sectors have data that needs to be analysed.
This MMath course follows the same first three years of teaching as the BSc degree, with an additional year at Master's level. You can transfer from the BSc to MMath, provided you achieve the correct grades.
