Paramedics are skilled Allied Health Professionals who evaluate, care for, oversee, refer, and release patients needing immediate, ongoing, or specialized treatment in urgent and emergency healthcare settings.
Our three-year program, developed by certified paramedics, offers a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and clinical placements in diverse healthcare environments.
You'll learn from a seasoned faculty of paramedic educators and active practitioners, supplemented by insights from guest speakers representing various healthcare fields like midwifery, mental health, and pediatric nursing. This comprehensive approach equips you with the competencies to handle patients with varied needs in multiple care scenarios.
Approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and endorsed by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS), this program qualifies graduates to register with the HCPC and begin practice as Newly Qualified Paramedics (NQP).
