From developing fingerprints (both chemically and physically) to conducting bloodstain spot tests, measuring refractive index, performing chromatography, spectroscopy, and x-ray fluorescence, you'll investigate numerous techniques employed in forensic science laboratories.
Throughout this program, designed to refine various in-demand practical abilities, you'll receive guidance from forensic and analytical science experts, including academics and seasoned professionals.

Master diverse subjects through lectures, problem-solving tutorials, laboratory sessions, and our crime scene simulation areas. Simulated court proceedings and structured outdoor crime scene exercises will further deepen your knowledge. BBC-BCCat A Level including a minimum grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course.
