Our research in Microfluidics and Microengineering focuses on creating innovative microengineered devices, biodetection technologies, and complete microfluidics-based systems. The unit boasts specialized clean room facilities and advanced laboratory equipment. Our work receives funding from both governmental organizations and private sector partners. Students will work under the guidance of two supervisors - a Principal and secondary supervisor - both specialists in their respective fields. All research takes place in our fully-equipped laboratories designed for our specific areas of study. The program duration is 12 months for full-time students or 24 months for part-time participants. Students undergo registration assessments through formal viva examinations at 3 months (full-time) or 6 months (part-time) after enrollment. The final evaluation requires thesis submission followed by a viva examination conducted by both external and internal examiners.
