Students in our BEng Automotive Engineering program have undertaken placements at prestigious companies like Bentley Motors, Rolls-Royce, and Triumph Motorcycles. You'll gain hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering tools and industry-standard software, endorsed by the Automotive Industry Advisory Panel. The curriculum emphasizes vehicle design, considering performance, market needs, safety standards, and environmental impact. You'll work with cutting-edge industry technologies while specializing in vehicle architecture, powertrain systems, airflow dynamics, material science, and production methodologies.

This degree equips you for diverse career opportunities as a certified automotive engineer. Many placement students secure sponsorships or job offers before completing their final year. A Level - BBB-ABB - maths and either physics or technology or engineering based subjects, excluding general studies/critical thinking

BTEC - DDM - Extended diploma in engineering (DMM) to include Distinction in further maths

GCSE- Grade 4/C in English Language and 4/C in Mathematics.

IB - 120 -128 points from a minimum of 2 HL subjects at grade 4 or above to include HL Maths and Physics

IELTS - Score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
TOEFL IBT - 72 with band scores of reading 18, writing 17, listening 17, speaking 20, Pearson Test of English (PTE) - 51 (with no less than 42 in any band)
