This program trains you to write across digital platforms, print media, video, audio, and multimedia formats while building research techniques to captivate audiences. These combined elements provide dynamic avenues to refine your writing style and explore publishing pathways. The journalism component covers ethical considerations, audience targeting, and the complete process from interview to published piece. You'll create content across multiple formats—from blogs to traditional print—covering both global news and topics aligned with your passions. The creative writing curriculum teaches essential techniques for conceptualizing, refining, and submitting your work. You'll examine literary texts, understand authorial decisions, and produce original short fiction, plays, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Additional opportunities include educational collaborations, guest speaker events, international study options, or professional placements.
