Our comprehensive BSc Hons Psychology program with a foundation year delves into both adult and child psychology, brain function, and practical applications of psychological principles.

This extended Psychology degree option is designed for students who don't meet the entry criteria for the standard BSc Hons Psychology course.

The initial foundation year covers essential psychology concepts, research methodologies, and academic skills to prepare you for undergraduate-level work. After completing this year, you'll progress to the three-year psychology program, exploring diverse areas from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to developmental and social psychology.

Our program holds accreditation from the British Psychological Society. By successfully completing your final project and achieving at least a 2:2 honors classification, you'll qualify for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the BPS - a crucial requirement for those pursuing Chartered Psychologist status.

Beyond preparing you for advanced psychology training, this course equips you with valuable technical abilities and interpersonal competencies that appeal to various employers across different sectors.
