This specialized computer science program focusing on artificial intelligence equips students with knowledge of cutting-edge advancements in this rapidly evolving field. The curriculum explores how AI methodologies give rise to practical applications and their integration into real-world solutions. Students develop a solid understanding of the scientific principles behind computing and software systems through courses like AI Applications, Natural Computing, and Machine Learning. The program strengthens mathematical and analytical competencies essential for AI, covering natural computation and swarm intelligence using state-of-the-art tools. The University of Greenwich maintains a longstanding partnership with the British Computer Society (BCS), which certifies our computing degrees. Following comprehensive updates, this program currently holds provisional accreditation as Initial Full Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and Partial Chartered Engineer (CEng) status for enrolled students. Final accreditation confirmation is anticipated in fall 2022 after the first graduating class. The university will provide updates regarding this status. Should any unexpected delays occur, the institution will assist graduates with individual BCS membership applications.
