Physician associates are playing a growing role in healthcare teams, assisting physicians and medical staff in diagnosing and treating various common and complex conditions. This dynamic master's program equips you with the clinical expertise needed to deliver excellent patient care under a doctor's direct supervision.

As one of the newest healthcare professions, the physician associate (PA) role offers graduates an innovative pathway into clinical practice. PAs collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients across all age groups. Your responsibilities will include taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests, contributing to clinical decision-making, and creating evidence-based treatment plans.

Through partnerships with local NHS Trusts, our expert faculty will mentor you through clinical training and skill development. We'll help you master the theoretical foundations of the PA profession while applying this knowledge during hands-on clinical rotations.

The program begins with intensive study of the academic principles essential to the PA role. You'll also develop fundamental clinical competencies in our advanced Simulation Suites, building confidence and practical skills before transitioning to real-world primary and secondary care settings through structured placements.
