The MSc Advanced Professional Practice (APP) program is aligned with the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) and caters to the academic and clinical development requirements of professionals across various health, social care, and allied health services. You'll be prompted to explore interdisciplinary theories spanning sociology, philosophy, psychology, and legal studies, moving beyond your primary field of expertise. This approach equips you with critical thinking skills to question established practices while developing comprehensive insights into regional, national, and global factors influencing advanced professional practice. The curriculum blends mandatory and elective modules to cultivate proficient research capabilities that will strengthen your evidence-based advanced practice. We acknowledge that many practitioners have accumulated Continuing Professional Development credits (including level 7 clinical modules from the University of Gloucestershire and other institutions) without pursuing a complete Master's qualification. The program offers credit transfer opportunities, creating a structured pathway to achieving your MSc Advanced Professional Practice degree.
