This program will equip you with practical skills and self-assurance in learning disabilities nursing, focusing particularly on leadership and fostering a compassionate care environment. Created through partnerships with NHS organizations, private and voluntary sectors, as well as caregivers and service users, the curriculum prepares you with the competencies and assurance needed for a successful career in Learning Disabilities Nursing. Leadership development and cultivating a supportive care culture remain central themes.
Our learning disabilities nursing degree is jointly designed with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The program emphasizes versatile skill-building to provide exceptional care across diverse environments. Qualification Requirements
112 UCAS tariff points, BBC at A levels with one subject preferably in a science. DMM at BTEC to include 6 units in a Science or Health Science subject. 2:2 or above in a previous degree, or a Merit in T-Level in a science or health-related subject.
Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a health or science based subject. Applicants required to meet 112 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 24 distinctions and 15 merits and 6 passes or 21D, 18M and 6P).
Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) level 7.0 or above with a minimum of 7.0 in all sections of the test.
