The Social Scientists in Health research group comprises members exploring diverse Social and Public Health themes and invites PhD applications focusing on these key areas: Examining health concepts and determinants: research that identifies the societal and cultural factors influencing health behaviors and results. Enhancing health outcomes: studies developing and assessing culturally appropriate initiatives to boost wellbeing, particularly addressing health disparities.
Health policy analysis: investigations critically examining public policies as major health influencers and proposing alternative approaches to reduce health inequities.
