Industry professionals actively contribute to our curriculum through teaching sessions, guest lectures, and seminars. Networking opportunities with industry representatives are also available at open events and recruitment sessions. Upon meeting progression criteria, this qualification serves as a pathway to the MSc City Planning. You can complete it flexibly—either through full-time study in one year or part-time over multiple years. An optional London field trip offers firsthand exposure to urban planning challenges in a global metropolis, with past visits including landmarks like The Shard, King's Cross, Battersea Power Station, and community-led initiatives.
Graduates pursue careers in public-sector roles (local/national government) and private-sector consultancies specializing in spatial planning, development management, and urban renewal.
