This Applied Neuropsychology Masters program caters to internationally trained clinical psychologists seeking to advance their mental health education. Created in collaboration with NHS Education for Scotland, it delivers specialized training for professionals in clinical neuropsychology. The university boasts a renowned research legacy in clinical neuroscience and neuropsychology, establishing it as an ideal setting for Applied Neuropsychology studies.
Most participants enroll for a full academic year in Glasgow, enabling them to conduct research projects typically affiliated with our research teams. Instruction is delivered exclusively by field experts, comprising University clinical academics alongside specialists from across the UK and sometimes globally. The curriculum consists of eight courses organized into teaching blocks, with each two-week segment covering two courses.
Alumni have secured advanced positions in brain injury services across Western and Eastern Europe, working in both NGO and governmental capacities. Career outcomes include positions like Senior Assistant Clinical Psychologist and Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist.
